Kids Cooking Club
Virtual cooking classes for kids age 12-17
Class sizes up to 15 students using the
zoom platform
Students will learn how to cook a meal for their families. Each recipe prepared will feed 4-6 people
When: Every Saturday at 4:00-6:00 PM
Cost: 25.00-50.00 per class (depending on the class choice)
Ingredients are purchased by students before class. Chef Albano will send out an ingredient list upon registration of each class

Family Dinners (these classes are 1.5-2 hours)
Chicken Pot Pie- Students will make pie dough from scratch for this recipe. There is a lot of knife skills used for this class in the chopping and dicing of all of the vegetables.
Pizza Night- students will learn how to make home made pizza dough and marinara sauce. Students will learn the chemistry of yeast dough development. Knife skills will be taught where students will learn how to hold and use a knife safely and correctly.
Chili and cornbread- This is a chili with meat and beans. While chili is cooking students will make cornbread to accompany it.
Spaghetti and Meatballs- Chef Albano will share her family recipes to make home
made marinara sauce and meatballs she enjoyed as a child from her Grandparents
Italian restaurant.
Sheet Pan Dinners- Pan-Roasted Chicken and Vegetables, Sheet-Pan Chicken Parmesan, Roasted Sausage Potatoes and Peppers, Honey-Roasted Chicken & Root Vegetables, Lemon Garlic Chicken
Egg Cookery- Some examples within this category are learning how to make omelets, poached eggs to make eggs benedict or crepes
Spanish-style Dinner- empanadas and Spanish rice and beans. This was a family
favorite meal taught to Chef Albano when she was a young girl, in the back of the
kitchen of her Mom's restaurant by the cooks and chefs who worked there. These
empanadas were a favorite in her household.
